ICE BREAK EXTREME is widely used throughout Scandinavia & Germany as the most effective way to remove ice, working 8 times faster than rock salt. ICE BREAK EXTREME quickly penetrates ice, breaking it’s bond to the ground. ICE BREAK EXTREME covers up to twelve times the area of salt based products & keeps on working long after other traditional ice melting products; treated areas are snow and ice free in cold spells for up to 48 hours, this eliminates the re-formation of a hazardous water film.
ICE BREAK EXTREME dissolves completely without trace, leaving no muddy deposits & no mess or residue to clean up. ICE BREAK EXTREME will not break up road or path surfaces and is safe to use near grassed areas. It leaves drives, footpaths, road surfaces, vehicle bodies and other surface finishes undamaged. It will not discolour boots, shoes and does not damage carpets or flooring from foot traffic. 1 x 12.5 KG bucket will treat up to 240M2 thick ice.
USES
Specifically formulated to melt snow and ice on forecourts, pathways, loading bays, cold store areas, driveways, steps, car parks, runways, ramps, roadways, pedestrian precincts, railways and other key access or loading points. On equipment & sewers lines and other locations where snow and ice build up can prove hazardous. ICE BREAK EXTREME is essential for use in nursing homes, sheltered accommodation, offices buildings, factories use around emergency exits, delivery bays, car parks, sewers, garage forecourts, schools, hospitals and any public area.
Not harmful to humans or animals. Safe to use near grassed areas, vegetation and on concrete surfaces. ICE BREAK’s uniform lightweight premium high purity pellets spread easily for complete accurate coverage, a small quantity will treat a large area of light ice & snow up to 1000m2 & heavy thick ice up to 250m2 per 12 kg bucket.
For best results, brush away heavy snow first, then simply use a scoop to spread the ICE BREAK EXTREME (similar to sowing grass seed) or use conventional spreading equipment to spread evenly across affected area and then leave to work.

Being an environmentally responsible company is difficult in winter, when traditionally people have spread salt on their paths to keep them clear. We decided a few years back to see what was on the market that was environmentally friendly. We now make sure that there at least 2 tubs in stock every winter, and wouldn’t consider using anything else. (Unless APT invent a better version, which I doubt is even possible)
