This Cold Stone Cleaner is a strong alkaline based cleaning compound formulated for use with Restoration Cleaner, Limestone Afterwash or Limestone Restorer. When used properly, the prewash dissolves and assists in removing heavy carbon encrustations from brick, terracotta, sandstone, limestone and most other masonry. Old masonry in high pollution areas is often blackened by deep seated carbon and mildew stains. Many of these stains are impervious to standard based cleaning compounds. APT’s Cold Stone Cleaner provides the additional chemical ingredients necessary to clean extremely dirty masonry surfaces. The gel like consistency will allow for controlled application and longer dwell times.
Treated surfaces must be neutralised with Restoration Cleaner, Limestone Afterwash or Limestone Restorer. Extended contact may damage polished marble or limestone. May damage wood, metal and painted surfaces. Does not damage or alter masonry surfaces. Will not damage glass. Ideal for spot treating heavily stained carbon and mildew areas.
Dilute 1 part product up to 5 parts water.
Easy to apply with brush, roller or sprayer.
Protect surrounding surfaces and beware of wind drift. Cleaning effectiveness is reduced where surface and air temperatures fall below 5°C. Do not apply at temperatures below 0°C. If freezing conditions exist prior to application, allow adequate time for masonry to thaw.
Apply using a deep napped synthetic roller or nylon brush (do not use natural fibre) or low pressure compression sprayer. Allow 30 minutes to 2 hours. Rinse using a pressure washer – hot water may improve efficiency.
Store in a cool, well ventilated area. 2 years shelf life.

For large cold store maintenance, it is available in 210 litre barrels but if you are a butcher with just a small walk-in freezer, you can buy it in handy 5 litre containers.
