How to dispose of sulphuric acid drain cleaner?
Sulfuric acid drain cleaner is a hazardous substance. So, it’s important to dispose of it properly. Here are some guidelines on how to dispose of it safely:

1. Neutralise – If you’ve diluted your acid drain cleaner, you can add baking soda to the solution to neutralise it. Gently stir until the acid is neutralised. You can then flush the solution down the toilet.
2. Dilute – As our acid drain cleaner is super-concentrated, you will need to dilute before disposal. One way to do this is to add 10 parts water to one part solution.
3. Containerise – If you’d prefer to use a professional hazardous waste disposal company, simply add the solution to a plastic container and label as a ‘sulfuric acid-based drain cleaner’.
