KAGEZ 703 is a safe, non-flammable, virtually odourless, environmentally acceptable hydrocarbon solvent. KAGEZ 703 removes oils, greases, flux, bitumen, dust, tars, glues, waxes, sticky residues, some silicones and un-cured adhesives.
Use to clean non-live electrical components, circuit boards, painted surfaces, plastics, chlorinated rubber finishes to remove silicone deposits.
For degreasing, all metals including steel, aluminum, engine parts and gearbox components, bearings etc.
The low volatity and low odour of KAGEZ 703 make it suitable for use in confined spaces e.g. in tunnels and submarines.
Use neat at ambient temperatures and test the surface for compatibility prior to general application.
Apply by brush, low pressure sprayer, dip-tank or ultrasonic tank. Agitate with a brush if necessary.
Allow up to 5 minutes contact time for heavy deposits, simple wipe, clean or allow to dry off.
N.B. Flash Point is above 70°C.

Kagez 703 can also be used to clean and degrease engine parts, bearings, gear boxes and chains. The industrial degreaser replaces some of the hazardous and pungent degreasing fluids found on the market today and is suitable for use in confined spaces where traditional chlorinated hydrocarbon cleaning solvents are restricted due to toxicity levels, operational and environmental reasons.
Kagez 703 solvent degreaser is ideal for the removal of unwanted build up of surface contamination including flux, glue, and grease residues. To be used for cleaning large components or where solvent vapour production may be harmful, it is ideal for degreasing in dip tanks and ultrasonic bath cleaner systems. Formulated for machine use, this is ideal as a parts washer solvent and ultrasonic cleaning flus, strongly reducing the amount of manual cleaning required. Since Kagez 703 totally evaporates, it leaves no residue meaning that cleaned parts are ready for us and the adhesion of primers is not affected after degreasing, ensuring the quality of finish is maintained on the substrate material. Kagez 703 can be used for cleaning large components or where solvent vapour production may be harmful. We recommend agitating with soft brushes before allowing to dry naturally, wiping with a clean cloth or with air assistance.
