It’s caustic-based, low-foaming formula contains added corrosion inhibitors and can be used for all heavy duty metal cleaning and degreasing tasks in the medical, munitions, transport and industrial manufacturing sectors.

UltraMax SOD special blend of low foaming ingredients’ designed for spray parts washer and ultrasonic cleaning either hot or cold not recommended for alkaline sensitive parts surfaces such as aluminium (use UltraMax MET). Recommended for removing build up of carbon deposits from stainless steel, ferrous metals, glass, use in ultrasonic cleaning tanks and spray parts washer systems to quickly and effectively clean, degrease and de carbonise metal parts and components loosening and removing the toughest metal working compound and unwanted build up of residues, oils, grease and storage wax, most protective coatings found in Industrial plant and equipment manufacturing, the shipping and transport industries.
Application: Ultrasonic cleaning bath Dilute in the ultrasonic bath 1-2% or 1 part solution to and leave to work between 2 to 8 minute cycles. If heated tank the temperatures up to 50C are Optimal Dilute 100 parts water lighter cleaning tasks Dilute 50 parts water for medium cleaning tasks Dilute 25 parts water for heavy duty cleaning tasks.

UltraMax SOD is a heavy duty industrial ultrasonic cleaning and degreasing fluid. Its caustic based, low foam formula contains added corrosion inhibitors can be used for all heavy-duty metal cleaning and degreasing tasks in the medical, munitions, transport, and industrial manufacturing sectors.
To use UltraMax SOD in an ultrasonic cleaning tank, we recommend diluting the heavy-duty degreaser in the ultrasonic bath 1-2% (1 or 2 parts solution to 100 parts water) and leave to work on 2-to-8-minute cycles. If being heated, tank temperatures of up to 50°c are optimal. If there is heavy soiling on the parts and components, we recommend different dilution rates (product dependent), specific information on this is provided on the product bottles.
The best way to use an ultrasonic cleaning solution is to dilute it with water (dilution rates are generally dependent on the soling on the components and parts, we provide information on dilution rates when your order is delivered). UltraMax SOD is a uniquely formulated heavy-duty cleaner and degreaser with many uses and features. Fast acting and highly concentrated, this heavy-duty caustic cleaner is suitable for removing contamination from components and is the perfect parts washer degreaser. UltraMax SOD contain a blend of low foaming ingredients, designed to be used either hot or cold on any non-alkali sensitive materials such as, ferrous metals, glass, and stainless steel.
Ultrasonic cleaning is one of the most quick, effective, and least manually taxing ways of cleaning, degreasing and de-carbonising metal parts and components. It will loosen and remove even the toughest deposits, especially when removing the following: metal working compound residues, oil and grease residues, storage waxes, food stuff and fatty residues, inks, and dyes. UltraMax SOD has also been designed for use in laboratories for cleaning a wide range of equipment and glassware. The highly concentrated, low foam formula has built in corrosion inhibitors to protect metals and maintain efficiency of cleaning equipment as soon as they leave the ultrasonic bath.
