RELEASE No.1 is an all purpose product which displaces moisture, penetrates, lubricates and prevents corrosion on ignition systems, electrical equipment, locks, hinges, tools etc.
RELEASE No.1 is ideal for use within the engineering and transport industries.
RELEASE No.1 easily releases all types of bolts, nuts and other seized metals without sheering.
The residual protective film ensures long term protection.
Apply to surfaces by brush, spray or immersion. Safe for short term contact with rubber and plastics but prolonged contact may cause distortion for softening.
Industrial lubricants are used in all mechanical, maintenance and repair applications as a penetrating lubricant, rust, corrosion inhibitor and dewatering fluid. Industrial lubricants are used in all sectors to dismantle rusted, worn parts and removal of moisture from chains etc. This product is used in all heavy-duty industries such as quarries, workshops, shipping and heavy plant.
Lubricant used in the automotive industry (and others!) is made up of a blend of penetrating oil and release agents with added graphite. The purpose of PTFE is to lubricate, protect and prevent seizures of metals, whilst also preventing further corrosion and oxidation. It’s commonly used in the engineering sphere to remove engine blocks, heads, studs and bolts and is suitable to stop all machine shop dismantling and plant hire servicing. This can also be used to loosen tyre beards that have become rusted to wheel rims, leaving a protective anti-rust coating for trouble-free future maintenance. Another benefit of this is that it won’t attack plastic cables!
When drilling metal, it’s very common that metal parts can seize up next to one another and become stuck. Metal that has become seized together for some time can corrode and rust, making the problem increasingly worse and more difficult to break apart. PTFE spray and food grade lubricant is a highly stable, non-toxic, water resistant synthetic lubricant for all types of machinery and applications, formulated specifically to give extra lubrication under the most adverse conditions. The properties give excellent lubrication when sprayed onto the substrate material, which is highly durable when applied to a wide range of moving surfaces and components.

Release No 1 (available in spray and liquid):
Graphite lubricant and penetrating oil that rapidly soaks into the smallest crevices, providing excellent lubrication. It is unsurpassed on seized metals, allowing them to be separated using less force whilst lubricating the surfaces to reduce the change of shearing components. Release No 1 leaves a lasting protective graphite film for added protection against rust, water ingress, damp and corrosion. Release No 1 is ideal for use on during the removal of engine blocks, heads, studs, bolts, all machine shop dismantling and plant hire servicing.
PTFE (available in spray and liquid):
PTFE is an effective synthetic penetrating oil for more difficult rusted parts and seizures. PTFE is ideal where added protection is required after release and higher temperatures are involved in manufacturing or processing operations. This is one of the most effective food-safe lubricants that leaves a reassuring protective film for added defence against rust, water, damp and corrosion elements in harsh operating environments.
The most suitable lubricant for metal on metal is Release No 1 since it is a highly effective clear penetrating fluid with excellent water displacing properties to provide deep penetration and protection in the most difficult areas whilst lubricating and protecting from further seizure or rusting by displacing water and moisture from all areas.
